Care Team members seek to meet the needs of the local church and the local community.  They are the sponsors of the annual Sundaes on Thursday held at the local nursing home and the regular sponsor of the monthly birthday and anniversary celebration on the second Sunday of each month.  The Care Team reaches out to the poor in the community and the stranger passing through by providing much needed monies for fuel, hotel and motel expenses. They also help provide food and help with utilities.  They annually provide a thanksgiving dinner for five needy families through government social services and they care for the sick and homebound.   If you're ever thinking about serving on a team that truly makes a difference then this might be the very team for you, it's the team with a heart.
